Hi all. I'm looking for a Sprint phone that can read texts. Any recommendations? I currently use the LG Rumor 2, and it will read all of the menus but it won't read the text messages. Is there a way around that?

Sprint will be carrying the iPhone starting next month. I'd wait until then. My mom, brother, and I have switched over to Verizon, purely because my brother wanted to leave the family plan we were on with Sprint. I couldn't wait for the iPhone five. lol Oh well.

I was using the lg lotus that I could send and receive texts on. I still have the phone and plan to sell it. It is purple though. I would still be with sprint but it does not pick up at my house so I had to go with another company.

Depending on your needs you have options. Sprint has some android phones that work well like the evo shift, and a few other options. also sprint will bee carying the Iphone as well soon. if you are not a apple fan, just wanted to stay away from the apple eco system then android is a great platform. Keep in mind you do not even have to buy a bluetooth keyboard because android has both fully touch screen and slider touch screen phones. So I hope this works. If you go to the android eco system I would bee glad to help you in finding great apps.

Yeah I have an android samsung intercept. They don't cell them anymore from what they told me though so I would suggest a galaxy maybe. You can use talkback on your phone for starters but if you want something that'll read the web and such you can get the mobile accessability for $99. There is a demo if you want to try it as well. I love my android because you can also hook it up to your laptop and it'll act as a wireless internet. Also, you can go to the market via your computer and download aps that way. Woo hoo! Take care and have a blessed day.

Sprint has a few phones for android with a physical keyboard that might be a good option. Also I believe they are getting the IPhone 5 soon. I have the lg lotus and it reads text messages but they don't carry it anymore.

Also you do not need the physical keyboard just a trackpad or trackball on the phone it self. I have a my touch 4G from T-mobile it does not have the hardware keyboard on it. I am not sure what sprint offers with a trackpad or trackball.

If you want to go the Iphone rout then by all means the Iphone 4S works. If you just like to try or like the freedom of android then sprint has that too!!.
